　　众所周知，牛津大学申请门槛很高，其官网也已经明确申请要求，以IB成绩为例，不仅每个学生成绩都要在40分左右，高阶三门课程几乎需要满分！

　　尽管申请要求如此之高，每年牛津大学仍会收到2万份以上的申请，但每年计划招生人数却只在3000人左右。

　　为了筛选出适合牛津大学的学生，牛津所有专业都额外要求学生参加相关入学测试或上传学术论文。经过层层筛选后，仅有平均三分之一的优秀申请者才能获得面试邀请。

　　牛津大学的面试以高学术内容为特色，题目绝大部分都是高中生鲜少涉及的学术领域。面试官一般都是学生申请专业的导师。为确保学生之后能够很好地适应牛津课堂， 面试官需要测试学生在面对学校教授的知识范围之外时，是否具备独立思考和思辨的能力。经过层层角逐，只有佼佼者中的佼佼者最终才能进入到牛津大学这所顶尖大学学府中！

　　Oxford is known for its high entry barriers. Taking IB results for example, Oxford on its website requires an average score of around 40, and the three advanced courses to be almost perfect score!

　　Nevertheless, each year Oxford receives over 20,000 applications for its 3,000 vacancies.

　　To pick the best students, Oxford requires applicants in all majors to take entry test or to submit academic paper. And only the best 1/3 will receive interview invitation. The Oxford admission interview is known for its high academic content in which most questions are new to high school graduates, and the interview officers are usually the instructors of the major that the students apply for. To ensure a student is capable of catch up in an Oxford class, besides the range of knowledge taught in high school, interview officer will also exam the applicant’s independent thinking and critical thinking skills. And in the end, only the best of the best becomes a student of this world top university!
