　　德佩斯苏州校区十年级的Ada同学荣获2021年青少年写作大赛（14-18岁组）全国总决赛第三！

　　2021年青少年写作大赛由Urban Family杂志主办，参赛作品需全英文。

　　参赛者分成三个年龄段（6-9岁、10-13岁和14-18岁）进行比赛，获奖者的文章将在Urban Family杂志2021年冬季刊上发表。

　　恭喜Ada，全国总决赛第三！

　　在Ada笔下，通过公元2321年Abx的故事，探讨了全球变暖的话题，如果不做出改变，

　　这个世界会变成什么样？全球变暖会带来什么样的影响？......

2321 A.D

　　On June 27, Abx's 18th birthday. His family prepared a birthday party for him and invited his neighbors to attend. That morning, Abx woke up early. He couldn't sleep in bed, so he sat up. After AI dressing, Abx turned off the electronic projection screen outside the window and started to look at the desolate and cold land outside the window in a daze. Since 2100, the earth's environment had deteriorated significantly. From a simple temperature rise to ozone layer destruction. The destruction of the ozone layer had led to a large number of skin cancers and the near collapse of the food chain. Trees has also been greatly damaged. Under multiple blows, mankind had almost perished. Fortunately, with the rapid development of science and technology, a small number of people's lives have been saved and gradually multiplied to the present. 

　　Outside the window, several long dead unknown plants hung alone on the edge of the window. Several light colored stumps could also be seen not far away through the brownish gray dust sky, which was probably caused by strong ultraviolet light and pollution. The air was filled with death and despair. 

　　The party will begin. As the protagonist, he was pushed to the table and began to open gifts early. Abx opened one by one. Just then, he saw a special gift box. Abx thought about it carefully, as if it was his new neighbor. He opened it curiously and looked at what lay inside. It was actually a mirror. There was a faint wave of light flowing in the mirror. From time to time, he could see some vague images. He realized that this was by no means an ordinary mirror. Taking advantage of a lack of attention, he left and went back to his room and put the mirror on the bed. Suddenly，a strong force  took hold, and then a dazzling light, Abx fainted. 

　　When he woke up, he found himself next to a creature he had never seen before. It was like a vine growing on a tree, but it was much thinner and more vibrant than the vine. The pillar like stump looked full of water. Beside the vine like plants, there was a large water source. You couldn't see the head at a glance as plants were on both sides. There was also no dust in the air. Take a deep breath and breathe fresh air into your lungs. Abx was shocked. It was like a paradise. Where was it. He looked around and found a small stall not far away. It was the first time he had seen a stall outside. He thought of his hometown where he had to wear protective clothes when going out. He was sad, so he quickly asked the vendor what planet and what century it was. The vendor looked at him inexplicably and answered him. This is the earth, A.D. 2021. He realized that this was probably the old and beautiful blue earth he often heard of when he was a child. He wanted to ask again, but no one paid attention to him. He saw his body gradually becoming transparent. He only had time to grab a handful of leaves and was forced to leave the "fairyland". 

　　As soon as he woke up, he quickly opened his palm and put a leaf in it. It was not a dream. He looked out of the window. He didn't know that if those people hundreds of years ago knew that the world would be like this. If they did would they regret it or pay attention in advance. He didn't know. He just felt cold.

　　德佩斯苏州校区英语学科主任组织了十年级和十一年级学生参加2021年青少年写作大赛，并指导学生参赛。老师希望学生可以抓住每一个校内外的比赛机会，从而锻炼自己，提升竞争力。
