“我是小学生啦！” 上海青浦区协和双语学校一年级新生见面会

　　连日的大雨终于暂缓了脚步。7月的第一天，我们有机会迎来上海青浦区协和双语学校2020学年新一年级的小朋友们。他们带着好奇与向往，开始美好的一天。

　　The heavy rains have retreated today. On July 1st, we welcome a lovely group of children to SUIS Qingpu. They are our new Grade 1 students. They come to us full of curiosity about their school, new teachers, and what the future will hold.

　　“哇!新学校真美啊!操场真大呀!” 这一切对小娃娃们来说，都那么新鲜有趣!孩子们扑闪着眼睛，似乎想把看到的统统装进心里。

　　WOW! What a beautiful school! What an enormous playground! Everything is so fresh and new. The children's eyes opened wide with delight, as if they wanted to keep everything they see locked inside their hearts.

　　精彩拉开序幕，课程活动开始。孩子们认读校名，熟悉学校设施;聆听绘本故事，用英语自我介绍;参与数学游戏，畅游数字世界……

　　The thrilling visit and the school activities started with gusto! The children learned the name of their new school, experienced the new facilities. They read English picture books and introduced themselves in English. In math class, interesting mathematical activities stimulated everyone’s desire to learn...

　　刚才那一切还意犹未尽，丰富多彩的趣味课程又把孩子们带进了奇幻世界。用油画棒、沙纸自制书签，和哆啦A梦走进任意门，学做小创客体验AI人工智能，敲敲打打演奏《夏日嬷嬷茶》。

　　What's more, the brilliant activities brought the children into a fantastic world. Using oil painting sticks and sandpaper to make bookmarks; having a fantastic journey with Doraemon; learning to be a small AI maker and experiencing artificial intelligence; feeling the rhythm of “summer mammy tea” by knocking and hitting the drums.

　　见面会当然少不了活力四射的体育老师。跳绳、拍球，孩子们像撒欢的小鹿，不亦乐乎，红扑扑的小脸挂着汗珠。

　　The children were dazzled by the activity, and the energetic PE teachers pushed the activity to a thrilling conclusion. Skipping rope, playing with bean bags and interesting games, the children's red happy faces beaded with sweat.

　　孩子们虽然第一次踏进青浦协和，但是没有拘谨和不安，动手、动口、动脑，轻松快乐地开启新一站的美好。期待新学年，与各位小朋友的再次相见!

　　This is the meet-and-greet for freshmen of SUIS Qingpu campus. There is no formality and nervousness. We hope to meet and become fast friends next time. SUIS Qingpu campus, your next beautiful milestone, we are waiting for you!
