只争朝夕，不负韶华——上海托马斯实验学校本学期教育教学工作圆满收官!

　　时光飞逝，转眼间，本学期已接近尾声。上海托马斯实验学校全体师生一步一个脚印，用汗水铺洒前行轨迹，收获一路芬芳。新春佳节即将来临，我们更要不忘初心，牢记使命，以实干笃定前行，只争朝夕，不负韶华。本学期的最后一个教学日，校园里也是一番忙碌的景象。

　　How time flies. This semester is drawing to an end. Step by step, we worked hard to reap the fruits of our labor. Spring Festival is approaching, and we should remain true to our original aspiration, keep our mission firmly in mind, move ahead with concrete efforts, seize the day and live it to the full. The last teaching day of this semester is also a busy day.

　　在期末考试分析会上，各位老师通过数据图表，对学生在各学科期末考试的答题情况、考试成绩等方面进行了分析总结，并对如何帮助学生进一步提升学科成绩提出了建设性方案。校领导肯定了本学期老师们的辛勤付出，希望大家在日常的教育教学中，能够进一步把准教学方向，改进教学问题，齐心协力，教学相长，促进教学质量的进一步提升。

　　In the final exam analysis meeting, teachers used exam data to analyze and summarize students' results of every subject, and put forward constructive plans on how to help students further improve their academic performance. School heads appreciated the teachers’ great effort, and wished every teacher could find the right teaching approach and work together in daily teaching to further enhance teaching quality.

　　模拟APEC大赛

　　- 让智慧的观点激烈碰撞 -

　　人文组带来了一堂别开生面的知识拓展课“模拟APEC大赛”，为学生打造一个交流共享的平台。学生代表们深入学习APEC相关知识，结合各自经济体的实际情况，制定最适合本经济体的发展战略。同学们全身心融入角色，充分展现政务官、外交官风采，让智慧的观点在场上激烈碰撞。大赛也开拓了学生的国际视野，帮助大家发现兴趣和特长，为将来的职业发展做准备。

　　STS held a remarkable Model APEC to build a communicative platform for the students. The students had an in-depth study on APEC and formulated development strategies that best suit the conditions of each economy. They shared viewpoints with each other, tried their best to immerse themselves into the characters and showed the charm of political official and diplomat. Model APEC broadened students’ international horizon and contributed to their career plan.

　　- 毫不懈怠防范于未然 -

　　安全工作向来是学校教育教学工作的基础保障。临近寒假，学校专门召开了全体师生大会，解读上海市教委发布的学校寒假安全提示，给出假期安全温馨建议，增强全校师生员工的安全防范意识和防范能力。此外，学校还特地在新校区专门设置了安全警示标志和隔离带，防患于未然。

　　Safety of the school is the foundational guarantee for teaching and learning activities. In the staff and students meeting held before winter holiday, the principals reinforced the winter vacation safety tips issued by Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and gave warm suggestions to enhance teachers’ and students' consciousness of security. Furthermore, STS has especially placed safety warning signs and isolation strip in the new campus to avoid risk.

　　本学期，上海托马斯的师生收获满满。让我们一起相约1月17日，共同迎接令人期待的托马斯师生迎新汇演和家长会的到来。“修德、立人、行世界”，让我们满怀憧憬，昂首阔步，一起去书写更加灿烂的未来!

　　All the teachers and students have yielded good results this semester; let’s make an appointment on January 17th and expect Shanghai Thomas School Chinese New Year celebration event and parents meeting.
