广附国际部伍泠睿同学受邀美国华盛顿州副州长一行的同声翻译

　　11月7日，广州大学附属中学国际部学生伍泠睿很荣幸地被美国华盛顿州副州长邀请成为同声翻译，代表广附六千多名学生跟着邓校长在广州大学台山附属中学接待了来自美国华盛顿州的副州长Brad Owen先生，华盛顿州肯尼迪中学的校长Michael Prato先生。

　　It is a great honor for the student Lingrui Wu of the International department to be the translator, on behalf of 6000 Guangfu students in welcoming Mr. Owen (the governor of Washington State), Mr. Prato (the headmaster of Kennedy Catholic School), and all guests together with our headmaster Mr. Deng at Taishan Middle School attached to Guangzhou University.

　　在交流会中担任翻译的伍泠睿同学很流畅地用英文向来宾简要地介绍广附的历史、校区、特色班级、以及各种社团活动。我们的邓校长高度评价伍同学的出色表现！

　　Our student Lingrui Wu fluently introduced the history, campuses, special programs, and a diverse range of clubs of Guangfu to our guests in the meeting. And our headmaster was pleased with the introduction.

　　交流会上，副州长和肯尼迪中学校长与广大附中校长和广大台山附中校长热切地交流，交换了礼物。

　　In the meeting, Mr. Owen and Mr. Prato shared their ideas and exchanged gifts with the headmasters of Guangfu and Taishan Middle Schools attached to Guangzhou University.

　　在整个交流活动中，广大附中及广大台山附中的校长们与美国的副州长及校长都十分重视这次交流活动，并对未来双方的深切交流访问非常期待。副州长和各位嘉宾更是对我校学生伍泠睿同学的英语应用能力表示高度的评价和欣赏！

　　Everyone was smiling through the whole activity. Both sides attached great importance to this activity and looked forward to the next visit. The governor and guests were also impressed by our student’s applied ability in English.
